"Thru My Eyez" was my first solo photo exhibit, held in my hometown of Chicago in 2023.

The exhibit showcased a year's worth of my photography, designed to feel personal, homemade, and deeply connected to my roots. I creative directed the entire concept around the idea of what it means to start a dream from nothing but passion.

Every part of the space — from the hand-painted photo displays to the layout of the exhibit — was built alongside my family and friends. Visitors also had the chance to interact one-on-one with a film station I set up, where they could scan and explore some of my original negatives.

"Thru My Eyez" wasn’t just a collection of images — it was a reflection of my journey, my beginnings, and the community that helped shape it.
